Lisa Seitz
Lisa Seitz is a junior in Tourism Management.
What are your general impressions of your studies and RST as a whole?
I love the RST program because it gives students knowledge that they can apply to a variety of careers. The classes are all so different so it always keeps things fun and interesting.
What has been your most interesting experience at the University of Illinois?
My most interesting experience at the University of Illinois has been meeting new people. I have made so many good friends over the past three years that I know I will continue to be friends with after I graduate.
What extracurricular activities/student organizations are you involved with?
This year I am treasurer of STAR (Sport, Tourism and Recreation Association) as well as an active member of Phi Eta Sigma and Habitat for Humanity.
What are your post-graduation plans?
After I graduate I hope to become a wedding planner and work in Chicago.
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun I like to try out new restaurants and explore local activities in Champaign and its surrounding areas.
Why would you recommend RST and the College of Applied Health Sciences to others?
I would recommend RST and the College of Applied Health Sciences because the faculty is very welcoming and willing to help students gain experience in their field and provide networking opportunities after they graduate.
